The
Straightfork demo, engineered by Gregg Gill
and produced by Craig DeFalco, is complete and
now in the hands of Joe Hardy, known for engineering
and mixing ZZ Top. Former ZZ Top tour manager,
Billy Hale, is lining up labels to check out
the demo once mixed by Mr. Hardy.
Outworld
is back in this month to finish up their demo
with new singer, Carlos Zema.

describe WolfeBlitzer's new ten-song CD "Lonely
World" as a heavy metal album is to completely
overlook many of the subtleties that distinguish
it from meany of the genre's less successful contemporaries.
Sure, the musicianship is strong and competente,
but what sets this album apart are the compositions
which comprise this effort. The chorus of the
title track, for example , contains some very
surprising and sophistocated modulations which
are effectively placed without drawing any undue
attentin to themselves. "Rollin'" addresses
heavy metals frequent inability to wiing with
copious doses of hip-shakin butt-rockin' groove
power. And "Hungry for Love" contains
real live hooks! Honestly! When did you last hear
a catchy hook in a heavy metal context? And to

We've
had the great pleasure of recording a demo with
14 year-old singing sensation, Ren Patrick. Ren
has also been hired recently to sing on other Diamond
